WICHITA, Kansas — SWOSU baseball defeated Newman 25-13 in a run-rule victory.
SWOSU hit six home runs and scored 12 runs in the second inning.
SWOSU scored 25 runs, had 21 hits and 11 home runs in the win. Four Bulldogs hit multiple home runs, led by Jackson Syring, who hit four and went 5 -5 with nine RBIs.
Marco Barrera went 4-4 with two home runs, two doubles and four RBIs.
