The Weatherford Public Schools Foundation presented 16 grants to teachers within the school district this week for a total of $5,035.68.
At Burcham Elementary, nine teachers received grants totaling $2,571.52.
First grade teacher Donna Miller received a grant of $400 to fund the purchase of different types of magnets to help teach students about forces and motion using a hands-on approach.
