WMS/WHS band members compete at contest

  • ► The Weatherford Middle School 8th grade band received a superior rating on stage and in sightreading at District Band Contest in Elk City Tuesday.
  • The Weatherford Middle School 7th grade band received an excellent rating on stage and in sight-reading at District Band Contest in Elk City Tuesday.
The Weatherford High School band and the Weatherford Middle School band competed in the OSSAA District Solo and Ensemble contest Saturday. Those entered were grades 7 through 12. The high school took 13 musicians who received 16 medals. All high school musicians received superior ratings with solos and ensembles and are going to state in April.
