The SWOSU Athletic Department hosted the 2023-24 All-Sports Awards Ceremony last week in celebration of the past year in Bulldog Athletics. SWOSU honored both Ben Smith and Megan Brown as Athletes of the Year.

GUYMON — SWOSU’s women’s team won a third consecutive rodeo last weekend to complete the regular season circuit and in doing so clinched the program’s third Central Plains Region Championship in four years.

MAGNOLIA, Arkansas — SWOSU track and field had two earn allconference recognition and another two named Distinguished Scholars by the league at the 2024 Great American Conference Championships. The Bulldogs went on to finish ninth as a team in the final meet of the season.

CHICKASHA — Weatherford’s baseball season came to an end this past week, after being eliminated at the Regional Tournament in Chickasha. Weatherford went 2-2 at the tournament, defeating Ardmore, 16-11, and losing to Chickasha, 7-2, Wednesday.

Weatherford hosted Fort Cobb-Broxton in an early week contest and lost on senior day, 6-3. Fort Cobb-Broxton’s pitching stopped a comeback attempt in the final inning to win the game.
