Arlen Hyman

Arien D. Hyman was bom July 18, 1964, to Raymond and Sue (Stroup) Hyman in Cheyenne. He passed April 29, 2024, in Waynesburg, Ohio, at the age of 59 years, 9 months, and 12 days.

Arlen grew up in Cheyenne and attended Cheyenne Public Schools. He graduated with the class of 1981. After high school, Arlen moved to Weatherford and started his career in the taicking industry. He owned his own company, Hyman Transports Inc., and specialized in fuel/ HAZMAT transportation for various fuel and oilfield companies.

Alien was known for his loyal and honest work ethic. He was determined and hardworking up until the day he passed. January 6, 2011, Arlen married Barbara Hyman and in addition to his sons Joshua and Cheylyn, Arlen added a daughter Megan to the family. Arlen enjoyed riding his motorcycle on nice days. He enjoyed the outdoors and often went fishing and hunting.

Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Hyman, of the home; two sons, Joshua Hyman and significant other, Angie, of Norman, and Cheylyn Hyman and wife, Lauren, of Weatherford, and their daughter, Cheylee Hyman; daughter, Megan Galvan and husband, Emilio, of Ochelata, and their son, E.J. Galvan; mother, Sue Snell; two sisters, Lawana Roark and husband, Deryl, of Cheyenne, and Lisa Woods and husband, Carl Woods, of Cheyenne; sister-in-law, Denetha Haas, of Elk City; brotherin- law, Dell Cotton and wife, Traci, of Altus; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arlen is preceded in death by: his father; brother, Faron Hyman; five uncles, David, Jesse, Melvin, Kenneth and Harold Hyman; and cousin, Mike Hyman.
